Frances Carol Sievers, 99, of Natrona Heights, PA, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot, PA.  Carol was born February 24, 1916 in Denver, CO to the late Clyde Stultz and Carrie Overholt Stultz Gardner.  She attended Colorado Women’s College for 2 years and graduated from USC in 1938 as a Phi Beta Kappa. She then went on to receive her Masters of Social Work at USC in 1952. She worked as a Medical Social Worker for San Diego County for 40 years. She lived in the San Diego area until moving to Natrona Heights in 2005 to live with her daughter.  She was a member of the National Smooth Dancers, she enjoyed playing Bridge, was an advocate of nature and animals, but she especially enjoyed being around her family.    

Carol is survived by her daughter: Cheri (William) Reed; her grandchildren: Tom (Sue) Reed and their children: Amelia and Tessa Reed; Kelly (Brad) Olenic and their children: Sheridan, Emmitt and Quinn Olenic; and Tracy (Jason) Booher and their children: Reese and Griffin Booher.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister.   

At the family’s requests, all services for Carol will be private.  A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730).
