Carol (Duncan) Ray

Carol Ray, 71, of Lower Burrell, PA, died on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at her home.

Carol was born on June 3, 1943 in New Kensington, PA to the late Harry M. and Garnet Kaiser Duncan.  She was a member of the Bethesda Lutheran Church, Lower Burrell.  Carol was a homemaker most of her life and in her free time she loved working crossword puzzles and watching game shows.  She also loved to travel whenever she had the opportunity.  

She was the beloved wife of Richard Ray, Sr for 53 years; and the loving mother of: Roberta (Harvey) Smith, Cherie (Bob) Jones and Richard (Tammy) Ray, Jr.; grandmother of Chelsea Greenwald, Greg Ray, Adam Jones and Emily Smith and great grandmother to Colton James Royer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter: Rebecca and a sister: Arlene.

Family and friends are invited from 6-9 PM on Monday, January 12 at the CHURCHFIELD-PETERS FUNERAL HOME, 501 Fifth Avenue, New Kensington, PA  15068 (724-335-1951), where services will start at 11:00 AM on Tuesday.
