Carla S. (Helgert) Lunden, 72, of Allegheny Township, PA died on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at home. Carla was born on July 3, 1950 in Natrona Heights, PA to the late Carl V. and Doris J. Worch Lunden.  Carla was an office worker at the PA Department of Welfare and prior to that worked at Gulf Research.  Carla enjoyed shopping, all kinds of animals, helping people, going out to eat with her friends and dancing.  Carla is survived by her siblings: Linda (Roger) Woods of Lower Burrell, PA and Gregg Helgert of Freeport, PA a grandchild: Levi G. Walker; her nieces and nephews: Michelle (Randy) Vickers, Keith (Jill) Woods, Heath (Nikki) Helgert and Joshua (Ashley) Helgert; her special friend: Erica (Robert Bowser) Vucho and her longtime companion: Howard Brown.  She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons: Jason W. Geary and Clay Lunden and her granddaughter: Lexis Walker.

Family and friends are invited from 4 - 7 PM on Thursday, March 23, 2023 to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730).  Services will be held at 7 PM with the Reverend Darlene Ryniec, officiating.
