Bonnie Jean (Beighley) Glenn, 66, of Washington Township, PA , died on Friday, April 11, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot, PA.
Bonnie Jean was born on May 20, 1947 in Brackenridge, PA to the late Charles R. and Lillian L. Baker Beighley. She was a self employed beautician and also worked at W. L. Roenigk, Inc. as an aide and driver. Bonnie Jean was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of New Kensington where she was a member of the Ladies Aide group. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Lower Burrell Moose and the Upper Burrell Shamrocks for many years. She enjoyed sewing and became a very good seamstress, camping with the Boot Leggers Camp Club and most of all spending time with her grandsons.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years: Albert J. Glenn; her children: Valarie (Louis) Amarando of Vandergrift and Bryan (Amy) Glenn of New Kensington; 3 grandsons: Aaron, Tyler and Brandon Amarando; a brother: Gary (Kathy) Beighley of Apollo and a sister: Joyce (John) Long of New Kensington.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends are invited from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Wednesday, April 16 and from 10-11 AM on Thursday to the CHURCHFIELD-PETERS FUNERAL HOME, 501 Fifth Avenue, New Kensington, PA 15068 (724-335-1951), where services follow at 11:00 AM.
