Beverly J. (Fester) Swetof

Beverly J. (Fester) Swetof, 83, of New Kensington, PA passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, in the presence of her family. Beverly was born on Sunday, May 25, 1941 in New Kensington to the late Carl L. and Mabel (Woomer) Fester, Sr.

Beverly worked as a fork lift driver for Graham Packaging and was a member of the United Presbyterian Church.  She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family, and going to camp.  

Beverly is survived by her 3 sons: Robert A. (Diane) Swetof, Jr., James E. Swetof, and David M. (Linda) Swetof, all of Plum; 5 grandchildren: Aimee (Jeff) Shaffer, Joshua Swetof, Jacob Swetof, Ciera (Hope) Perri, and Connor Swetof; 5 great-grandchildren: Ella, Violet, Gemma, Lukas, and Benjamin; and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Robert A. Swetof, Sr. on January 23, 2020, and her 11 siblings: Carl L. Fester, Jr., Fred Fester, Donald Fester, Dorothy Yockey, Ethel Jean Allen, Joyce Haidze, Lois Baker, Peggy Swank, Karyn Foester, John Fester, and Kathleen Diana. 

Family and friends are invited from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, April 21, 2025 to the CHURCHFIELD-PETERS FUNERAL HOME, 501 Fifth Avenue, New Kensington, PA 15068 (724-335-1951) where services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 22 with the Pastor Becca Siddle, officiating.   Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell, PA.
