Betty Jane KuhnFormerly of Fawn Township, PA Betty Jane Kuhn, 87, formerly of Fawn Township, PA, died on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Sugar Creek Rest Home, Sugar Creek Township, PA.Mrs. Kuhn was born on Monday, March 12, 1923 in Natrona Heights, PA to the late James Frederick and Blanch Bowser Graybigle. She was a 1942 Har-Brack High School graduate. She worked at Furer's Dairy Office and was teacher's aide at Fawn Township Elementary School a part of Highlands School District for 5 years. She attended Center United Methodist Church, Fawn Township.She is survived by her children: Richard W. (Barbara) Kuhn of Buffalo Twp., PA and Beverly Jean (Richard) Small of Houston, PA; 5 grandchildren: Robert Freil, Amanda Freil, Darren Small, Lori Meckley and Caleb Kuhn and 7 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: James R. Kuhn (Sept. 4, 1999); 2 sisters: Violet Kuhn and Sara Martin; and 2 brothers: John F. "Nick" Graybigle and Walter "Bud" Graybigle.At the families request there will be no public visitation. A private service will be held on Saturday with the Reverend Dr. James Ritchie, officiating. Burial at Mount Airy Cemetery will be private.
