Bernice A. Demharterof Natrona Heights, PABernice A. Demharter, 90, of Natrona Heights, PA, died on Friday, April 26, 2013 at Concordia Lutheran Home, Cabot.Bernice was born on April 29, 1922 in Natrona, PA to the late Kenneth Roy and Elizabeth Diller Adams. She was a graduate of Har-Brack High School Class of 1940 and then graduated from Duff's Business Institute. She was a secretary in the business office of Highlands High School and she was also a bookkeeper at her husbands business, the L. Demharter and Son Plumbing and Heating. She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church of Natrona Heights. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels, and was an avid sports fan, but especially enjoyed the Steelers. She is survived by her children: Paul R. (Sandy) Demharter of Natrona Heights and David A. (Michele) Demharter of Natrona Heights; her 3 grandchildren: Scott Demharter, Joel (Kristen) Demharter and Elizabeth (Yue) Chu; 2 great grandchildren: Kaylerr and Tessa; and a cousin: Jayne Hazlett and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband: Paul R. Demharter (October 26, 1967).The family requests that there will be no public visitation. Family and friends are invited to a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 29, 2013 at the FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1500 Broadview Blvd., Natrona Heights, PA 15065, with her pastor, Barbara Ravenstahl, officiating.
