Barbara L. (Wray) Pirone

Barbara L. (Wray) Pirone, affectionately known as "Barb," of Zelienople, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights at the age of 83. Born on June 10, 1942 in Natrona Heights, PA. She was the beloved daughter of the late Richard Wray Sr., and Gloria J. Bubb (Berkes Wray).

Barb is remembered lovingly for her wonderful sense of humor, contagious laugh, and the joy she found in life's silly moments. Her warm heart and sparkling blue eyes left lasting impressions on everyone she met. Devoted to her faith, she spent much time reading her Bible and attending church services. Barb had a special gift for writing thoughtful and encouraging letters to pastors, spreading support and positivity through her words. An avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Barb's enthusiasm for her favorite team was beloved among her friends and family. She dearly treasured her family, especially cherishing the years spent married to her late husband, Richard D. Pirone.

She is survived by her loving children, son Brian (Pamela) Pirone and daughter Michelle (Jeffrey) Jones; brothers Richard Wray Jr. and Dennis Wray; sister Nancy (John) Fleming; grandchildren Ashleigh (Rob) Faith; Amanda (Nick) Fritz; and great grandchildren Emily Faith, Sam and Amelia Fritz.

Barb's joyful spirit, kind heart, and unwavering faith will forever remain with her family and friends. Her life will be lovingly remembered and treasured always.

Family and friends are invited from 2-4 & 6-8 on June 25, 2025 to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730) where services will be held on June 26, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Bob Zonts officiating.
