Arthur W. Gildner, 88, of Natrona Heights, PA, died on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Allegheny Valley hospital, Natrona Heights, PA. Arthur was born on Thursday, September 30, 1937 in Creighton, PA to the late Clarence W. and Anna Marie Goldsheater Gildner. Arthur served his country in the Army during the Korean War. Arthur worked as a Fossil Plant Operator for Duquesne Light. He was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Tarentum, Harrison Hills Fire Department where he was one of the founding members and a member of the Pollick Lodge #502, Tarentum. Arthur’s greatest enjoyment was tinkering with cars.
Arthur is survived by his children: Michelle (Ken) Misejka of Tarentum, Scott (Lori Lynn) Gildner of Brackenridge, Tiffany (William) Hooks of Natrona Heights, and Tanya Gildner (Mark) of Creighton; 8 grandchildren, Kayla (Ryan) Cochran, Ashlee (Adam) Mackey, Nicole Misejka, Douglas (Emily) Gildner, Samantha Gildner, Courtney Orr (Ian), Taylor Orr, and Declan Ciancaglione; 6 great-grandchildren, Brody Vallies, Cadance Borland, Olivia Bell, Maverick and Emeryn Cochran, Paisley Gildner; his sister-in-law: Marilynn (Nick) Grant and his nephew, Travis Grant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Carol J. (Smith) Gildner; son: Mark David Gildner and his grandson, Matthew John Gildner.
Family and friends are invited from 4-7 PM on Friday, January 16, 2026 to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA (724-224-7730). Services will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Philip Beck officiating. Burial will be private at Mount Airy Cemetery.
