Alan Peters Obituary

Alan Ferver Peters, 69, of San Diego, CA passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Sharp Grossmont Hospital, San Diego. Alan was born on June 28, 1954 in Natrona Heights, PA to the late Robert E. Peters and Janice Ferver Warden. Alan graduated from Highlands High School Class of 1973 and went to serve in the US Navy where he retired after 25 years of service.

Alan was an avid swimmer and used to compete on the Highlands, former Tarentum YMCA, and Brackenridge Heights Country Club swim teams; he also played the tuba in the school band. Alan loved dogs, especially taking them for walks, and enjoyed playing chess and darts.

Alan leaves behind to cherish his memory his step-mother: Carol Peters; his son: Alan F. Peters, Jr. of Hannibal, MO, his grandchildren: Alana, Anthony, Jordan, Jaelyn, and Ariel Peters all of Hannibal; his siblings: Robin (Don) Painter of Haddon Twp., NJ, John (Karen) Peters of Natrona Heights, Robert E. Peters, II of Erie, PA, and W. Bradley (Lisa) Peters of Carlsbad, CA; his aunt: Linda (Gary) Schuller of Fallbrook, CA; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, & great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
