Mrs. Agnes E. Smithof Cabot, PAAgnes E. Smith, 88, of Cabot, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Concordia Lutheran Homes, Cabot.Agnes was born on January 4, 1925 in Sarver, PA to the late James A. and Frone Smith Burd. She was a member of the Center United Methodist Church, Fawn Township and a former member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Freeport. She and her husband were foster parents for many years. She enjoyed singing and being with family and friends. She is survived by her children: Diane (Darrell) Kuhn of Cabot, PA and Glenn E. Smith of Odenton, MD; 6 grandchildren: Jamie L. Kuhn, Torri N. Kuhn, Glenn E. Smith, Geoffry S. Smith, Kimberly Smith Henderson and Angela Leigh Jasurek; 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: George L. Smith (August 10, 2002); 3 brothers: Robert, William and Kenneth Burd and 5 sisters: Hazel Koedel, Elsie Wylie, Nancy 'Ellen' Wylie, Katherine Bicker and Virginia Smith. Family and friends are invited from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Friday at the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730). Service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday at the Center United Methodist Church, 1575 Donnellville Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065, with the Reverend James Ritchie, officiating (EVERYONE IS ASKED TO MEET AT THE CHURCH). Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell, PA.
