Mona Jean (Callender) Martin, 87, of Natrona Heights, died on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Platinum Ridge, Brackenridge, PA. 

Mona Jean was born on Friday, March 21, 1930 in Natrona Heights, PA to the late William Lester and Lena Johnston Callender.  She enjoyed being with her family and watching the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins and enjoyed going to the Brackenridge American Legion.

She is survived by her children: Charles E. Martin of Natrona Heights,  PA and Rhonda (Ron Held) Borello of Vandergrift, PA; 4 grandchildren: Natalie (Bruce) Borello Schneider, Heidi (Andrew) Held Mlynarski, Heather (Randy) Martin Snow and Chaz (Joanie) Martin; 5 great grandchildren: Garrett “Little Man” Snow, Brady Snow, Austin Snow, Alazsha Hines and McKenna Martin and a special niece: Sharen Otterman.   

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Charles L. Martin (April 11, 2011); a son: William C. Martin and a sister: Marion Acre.

Family and friends are invited from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Sunday, October 15, 2017 to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730), where services will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM with the Dr. Reverend Michael A.
