Kenneth A. Wiskemann, Jr., 86, of Mars, PA died on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at St. John’s Lutheran Care Center, Mars.    

Kenneth was born on Monday, June 30, 1930 in Tarentum, PA to the late Kenneth A. and Edna Blanche (Martz) Wiskemann, Sr..  Kenneth attended Tarentum High School and joined the US Army, giving 2 years in active service and over 30 years in the Reserves before retiring as a Colonel in 1990.  Kenneth also worked as machinist at Allegheny Ludlum for 42 years before retiring in 1991.  He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Natrona Heights where he was a very active member and served as a lay minister at other churches. Kenneth also belonged to the Tarentum Masons Scottish Rite, and he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. 

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Robert A. (Cathleen) Wiskemann of Gibsonia, PA and the Rev. Sandra A. (Wyatt) Fitzgibbons of Smithton, PA; his grandchildren, Patrick A. Wiskemann and Robert Ryan (fiancé Petra Parquette) Fitzgibbons; and his siblings Phyllis Thomson of Fawn Twp., PA and Marlin “Babe” Wiskemann of New Kensington, PA.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Audrey E. (Roberts) Wiskemann on January 18, 2010, and his brothers Gary and Ron Wiskemann. 

Family and friends are invited from 1-4 PM on Sunday, February 12, 2017 to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730) where funeral services will immediately follow at 4 PM with the Rev. Justin Judy officiating.  Burial will be private.
