of Natrona Heights, PA

 

Kathryn Ohl Pusateri, 84, of Natrona Heights, PA died on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, PA.

 

Kathryn was born on Wednesday, March 1, 1933 in Brackenridge to the late Henry and Martha Kennedy Ohl.  Kathryn was a graduate of Har-Brack High School, West Penn Hospital School of Nursing and the University of Pittsburgh where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.  Kathryn taught in the school of nursing at West Penn Hospital for 10 years and also at the former Allegheny Valley Hospital School of Nursing until it closed in 1977.  She then joined the Staff Development Department where she worked until her retirement in 1995.  She was a life time member of all the following Grace United Methodist Church, Natrona Heights, the University of Pittsburgh Alumni and the VFW Post 893 auxiliary.  Her interests were playing the piano, reading, taking bus trips across the country and trips in the family motorhome. 

Kathryn is survived by her husband of 58 years: Anthony; 2 daughters: Kathryn (William) Wessel and Cynthia Pusateri; 2 grandchildren: Emilee and Bryan Wessel. he was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers: George and John Ohl.
