Kathleen M. “Katie” Monti, 91, of Cabot, PA died on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot, PA. 

Katie was born on Thursday, September 9, 1926 in Tarentum, PA to the late Edward and Josephine Deeney Conroy.  Katie lived in Brackenridge, PA for 49 years and during that time her husband Leo was the mayor and councilman of Brackenridge.  They both loved Brackenridge and the people who lived there and hated it when they had to move out of Brackenridge.  She was a member of the St. Joseph Parish of Natrona, a life member of the ladies auxiliary of the Brackenridge American Legion.  She loved to cook and invite people over to eat.  She really enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow up along with many of her nieces and nephews and was an avid reader.  Her mom was an Irish immigrant and Katie was so proud to be Irish.

She is survived by her son: Leo Monti of Natrona Heights, 3 grandchildren: Michelle, Todd and Jessica and 5 great grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Leo Monti; her siblings: Edward, William and Mary Moser; and her daughter in law: Pam Monti
