Janet Ruth (Zoerb) Bungard

Janet Ruth (Zoerb) Bungard, 68, of Montross, VA, formerly of Natrona Heights, PA went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 14, 2018 at her residence.  

Janet was born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 3, 1950 to the late Glenn Riddle and Ruth Rothfuss Zoerb. She worked as an RN first at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh and then went to Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights retiring in 2011 after 40 years of service.  She enjoyed being with her grandchildren. She was also an avid Steelers and Penn State football fan.

Janet is survived by her husband of 47 years: George Bungard, Jr.; her children: Brian (Heather) Bungard and Andrea (John) Cottom; 3 Grandchildren: Braeden Bungard, John Ellis Cottom and Andrew Cottom; and her siblings: Linda (Michael) Rosenbaum and Larry Zoerb.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends are invited from 4-8 PM on Thursday, December 20, 2018 to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730), where services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, December 21, 2018 with the Reverend R.
