Elizabeth (Staley) Kucik

Elizabeth Staley Killian Kucik, 98, formerly of Natrona Heights, PA died on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, PA. 

Betty was born on Wednesday, October 22, 1919 in Butler, PA to the late Harry Leon Staley and Bertha Anderson Staley Shaffer.  She was a graduate of Tarentum High School class of 1937. She was the owner of Office Tavern and Restaurant in Creighton for over 10 years. She also worked at PPG – Duplate Division, Alcoa-Wearever Division and was a real estate agent for John G. Holloway Realty of Freeport. She was a member of the Srader Grove Presbyterian Church, Freeport, PA, the Order of the Eastern Star of New Kensington, Woman’s Club of Allegheny Valley, Community Service Club of Tarentum, the South Buffalo Grange #1908 and the Armstrong County Pamona Grange #11.  

Betty is survived by her grandson: Brian M. Killian of Huntington Beach, CA. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Theodore Kucik; her children: Michael A. Killian, Stephen J. Killian and Henryann Killian; grandson: David Killian and 6 brothers: Walter, Carl, Harry , Kenneth, Norman and J. Richard Staley.
