David W. Crisman, Sr., 94, of Tarentum, PA died on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot, PA.    

David was born on Friday, December 8, 1922 in Widnoon, PA to the late Arnold and Vera (Keller) Crisman.  David was a Veteran of WWII serving in the Army Corp of Engineers before going to work as an engineer at Allegheny Ludlum for 40 years, retiring in 1988.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children David W. (Linda) Crisman of Ft. Myers, FL and John (Carla) Crisman of Tarentum; 5 grandchildren: Lori (Todd) Eshenbaugh, Lisa (John) Capretto, Michelle (Steve) Carr, Steve Crisman, and Brian (Melissa) Crisman; and 10 great-grandchildren.   

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Betty J. Crisman, his daughter, Karen L. Hazlett, and his siblings, Vera A. “Retta” Cunningham, Virginia B. Stauffer, Dennis R. “Bud” Crisman, Eleanor F. “Faye” Petroff, and Arnold B. “Jack” Crisman.
