Arthur "Art" Gibson

Arthur O. “Art” Gibson, 82, of Natrona Heights, PA died on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, PA. 

Art was born on Friday, August 30, 1935 in Tarentum to the late Arthur C. and Antonia Kravic Gibson.  He was a graduate of Har-Brack High School Class of 1953 and attended the University of Pittsburgh.  He served with the Air Force.  He worked as a supervisor for the Department of Defense at Washington DC and Ft. Meade, MD.  He was a member of the Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights.  Art was a Ham Operator and he enjoyed radio-controlled sail boats and cars, traveling, and music. 

Art is survived by his wife of 50 years: Donna J. Anthony Gibson; his sister: Toni (Donald) Parson of Great Falls, MT and 6 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Rose Dadura. 

Family and friends are invited from 6-8 PM on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730),  where a parting prayer service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, March 9, 2018. A mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 800 Montana Avenue, Natrona Heights, PA  15065 with the Rev. John B.
