Richard Clay Lunden, 31, of Allegheny Township, died Sunday, March 20, 2016. 

Clay was born Friday, May 18, 1984, in Pittsburgh, PA to Richard W. Lunden and Carla Helgert Geary Lunden. He worked as a landscaper. Unfortunately, Clay struggled with anxiety and panic attacks during his short lifetime, some of which were inherited and some brought on by numerous concussions. Even so, Clay had a charismatic, sarcastic attitude and will be remembered for his love of children, cars, especially his Subaru WRX, hunting and rescuing all sorts of dogs being abused or headed to the pound, as evidenced by his ownership of six dogs. Undoubtedly, he will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Richard W. Lunden and Carla Helgert Geary Lunden, Clay is survived by his daughter, Emma Sieminski, of Tarentum; his brother, Jason Geary, of Allegheny Township; and his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carl and Doris Helgert, and by his paternal grandparents, William and Lorraine Lunden.

Family and friends are invited from 4 to 7 PM Wednesday, March 23, 2016, in the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065, 724-224-7730, where a funeral ceremony will be held immediately following at 7 PM in the funeral home with the Rev. Sara Wrona presiding. Burial will be private.
