Rebecca (Sayers) Copus, 87, of Natrona Heights, died on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, PA. 

Rebecca was born on November 23, 1929 in Fairmont City, PA to the late Floyd and Alice Anderson Sayers.  She worked in child care. She attended the Church of God in Lower Burrell, PA.

She is survived by her children: John A. Copus of Quinlan, TX, Kathy Copus of Natrona Heights, PA, Dena (Michael) Thornton of Monroeville, PA, Brian D. Copus of Natrona Heights, PA and Edward L. (Amy) Copus of Peters Township, PA; 5 grandchildren: Tricia Copus Ricketts, Justin Copus, Allison Copus Irwin, Josh Copus and Emilee Copus Hemler; also 5 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.   

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: George Copus (January 20, 1982) and a brother: John Sayers.

Family and friends are invited from 1-3 PM and 6-8 PM on Sunday, September 17, 2017 to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730), where services will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Douglas Crump, officiating.  Private burial will take place at the Middle Run Cemetery, Redbank Township, PA.  For online condolences and more information please visit www.petersfamilyfuneralhomes.com.
