Martha J. (Acre) Johnston, 91, of Natrona Heights, PA died on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at home. 

Martha was born on Wednesday, August 25, 1926 in Natrona Heights to the late Norman and Annetta (Leasure) Acre.  She grew up in Natrona and was a graduate of Har-Brack High School class of 1945.  Martha lived in Sarver for 31 years then in Natrona Heights for 22 more years.  She worked in various Peoples Federal Banks and the Union National Bank in Tarentum for many years; jobs from which she acquired many lifelong friends.  She was of the Presbyterian faith and enjoyed bingo, poker with her nephews, trips to Atlantic City, and anything with her grandchildren who she dearly loved.

She is survived by her daughter, Laurel Zaboski and her grandchildren, Austin Remper, Mackenzie Remper and Sydney Zaboski.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Meredith W. Johnston, Jr. (December 7, 2015) her sisters, Ethel Lucas and Margaret Virginia Garris, and a brother, Paul Acre.
