Mae L. McClain, 85, of Buffalo Twp., PA, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 3, 2016.

Mae was born, Friday, August 15, 1930 to the late Carl C. Reith and Minnie Annie Amelia Harriet Reith. She worked at Buffalo Elementary School as a cook until her retirement. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot. Family meant everything to Mae and she was an excellent cook and a talented seamstress, always making favorite meals and beautiful clothing for her family.

She is survived by her sister: Helen Henry, her children: Janice (Paul) Barbiaux and Morris V. (Karen) McClain of Cabot; 5 grandchildren: Jacy (Paul) Brosenitsch, Halee (Michael) Sikorski, Tara Barbiaux, Karalee (Ethan) Gigler, John (Kyra) Barbiaux; and 14 great grandchildren: Mylee, Gage, Hannah, Zachary, Madison, Gavin, Emma, Kallin, Jaden, Moses, Lillee Mae, Noah, Benjamin, and Liam.

In addition to her parents, Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Morris V. McClain, on November 30, 2010, and her brother Clarence Reith.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, 724-224-7730.  A private committal service was held Wednesday, July 6th at 11:00 AM at St. Luke Cemetery, Cabot with the Rev. Barry Keurulainen.  A Memorial Service will be held at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 330 Hannahstown Road, Cabot, 16023 on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Rev.
