F. Jane Lang, 89, of Natrona Heights, PA, died on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at her residence in Natrona Heights, PA.

Jane was born on Thursday, October 28, 1926 in Natrona Heights, PA to the late Howard and Emma (Moore) Sarver.  She was a graduate of Har-Brack High School class of 1945 and later went on to work as a sales associate in several retail stores.  Jane was a beloved member of the Natrona Heights Presbyterian Church where she formerly served as a deacon and an elder of the church.  She was a member of the VFW Post 894 Ladies Auxiliary, the Eastern Star, and the White Shrine.  Jane dedicated her time to Meals on Wheels and loved cards, cooking, crocheting, crafting, and spending time with her family and friends. 

Jane is survived by her 3 daughters: Linda Lang of Tarentum, PA, Betsy (Thomas) Skubel of Penn Hills, PA, and Denise (William) Katora of Natrona Heights, PA; 5 grandchildren: Tiffany Amer, Thomas Skubel, Tammy Darosh, William Katora, and Matthew Fagan; 1 great-grandchild: Thomas Lyle Skubel; a brother: Dwight “Doc” (Betty) Sarver of Cabot, PA; and 3 beloved granddogs: Kai, Uma, and Mya.    

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, F. Roland Lang on March 19, 1976; 2 daughters: Janice and Joyce; and 2 granddaughters: Cheryl Walker and Stephanie Katora. 

Friends are invited from 6-9 on Monday, March 7 to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730).  Services will be held at the Natrona Heights Presbyterian Church, 1428 Broadview Blvd., Natrona Heights, PA 15065 on Tuesday, March 8 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. R. Cameron Malcom IV presiding (everyone is asked to meet at the church).  Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, 3820 Greenwood Road, Lower Burrell, PA 15068.
